Details:
...WINTER STORM WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EST MONDAY...
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation and black ice. Additional snow and
sleet accumulations will be less than one inch. Wet roads will
refreeze, becoming icy and slippery.
* WHERE...Portions of upstate South Carolina, northeast Georgia
and piedmont and western North Carolina.
* WHEN...Until 8 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Widespread black ice should be expected
Monday morning, and may be a concern into the middle of the
week. DOT asks persons to stay off roads unless absolutely
necessary.

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow, sleet,
and ice are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also
possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
Only travel in an emergency. If you must travel, keep a
flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an
emergency. Prepare for possible power outages.
